JoAnn Myers is the founder of The American Professional Tennis League (APTL), a for-profit professional sports league, and The Curlew Institute, an independent nonprofit whose flagship program is Where’s Your Racquet?. A principled leader with deep commitment to equity and community access in sports, currently driving a $5.7M capital raise to launch APTL franchises in 2027.

Michael serves as the APTL's Strategic Advisor and Market Development Lead for Indianapolis — APTL's flagship founding market and home of the 2026 proof of concept events and activations. He provides local corporate and civic introductions, supports the capital raise launch event, and brings credibility and connectivity to the APTL's most immediate operational priorities.

Marketing, Social Media & Graphic Design

Rachel leads the APTL's marketing strategy, brand development, and fan engagement initiatives. She drives awareness and builds community around the re-emerging athlete story across digital platforms, event marketing, and sponsor-facing collateral. Rachel manages day-to-day brand execution across all four founding markets.

John W. Griffin

John W. Griffin brings 25 years of experience in coaching, player development, including ODP (Olympic Development Program), college, as well as league and tournament management & development. John’s ability to translate proven soccer league and tournament models into the professional tennis environment supports disciplined growth, community engagement, and long-term league sustainability.

Rhonda Hale

Rhonda Hale serves as Financial Advisor to the APTL, providing strategic guidance on capital raising, financial modeling, and long-term fiscal sustainability. Her work informs the league’s capital strategy, including the evaluation of funding scenarios, deployment of resources across league and franchise operations, and assessment of financial readiness at each stage of expansion.
